Synchrony partners with Lithium Urban Technologies to introduce electric vehicles for employee commute
Synchrony aims to reduce its carbon footprint, with an estimated decrease of 405 tons of CO2 emissions per month attributed to the introduction of 25 EVs from Lithium Urban Technologies.
Synchrony, in collaboration with Lithium Urban Technologies, has launched 25 EVs for employee commuting. These eco-friendly vehicles, provided by Lithium Urban Technologies, will be readily available to all Synchrony employees, offering a convenient and environmentally responsible commuting alternative. By transitioning to electric vehicles, Synchrony aims to substantially reduce its carbon footprint, with an estimated decrease of 405 tons of CO2 emissions per month attributed to the introduction of 25 EVs.
Gaurav Sehgal, Senior Vice President, Human Resources – Asia, at Synchrony, speaking on the announcement said “Synchrony’s new EV fleet offers a win-win situation for both the environment and our employees. Adding these new EVs to our fleet is a big step towards a greener and cleaner future ahead.”
The introduction of the EV fleet represents another step in Synchrony's ongoing sustainability journey. The company remains dedicated to exploring and implementing innovative initiatives aimed at minimizing its environmental impact.
