Quantum Energy reduces EV prices by Rs 10,000 across its electric two-wheelers despite government trimming FAME incentives
Electric two-wheeler manufacturer Quantum Energy has announced plans to reduce the price of its electric scooters by Rs 10,000
Despite the government's decision to reduce incentives from Rs 10,000 per kwh to Rs 5000 per kwh, electric two-wheeler manufacturer Quantum Energy has announced plans to reduce the price of its electric scooters by Rs 10,000 and offer consumers a total incentive of Rs 75,000 for new bike purchases from various branded tie-ups until the end of the month.
The electric two-wheeler manufacturer is offering a 10% discount on its electric scooters, with prices dropping from Rs 1,19,525 to Rs 1,09,000 and Rs 99,757 ex-showroom to Rs 89,000, respectively.
Aside from the cash discount of Rs 10,000 per vehicle, the manufacturer is looking to provide exclusive brand offers and coupons from leading brands such as Myntra, Pizza Hut, Paytm, The Man Company, and others, thereby improving the overall value proposition for customers.
With the end of the FAME II Subsidy on March 31st and the subsequent introduction of the EMPS 2024 ad-hoc scheme, many electric two-wheeler manufacturers are looking to raise prices, and Quantum's Chakravarthi C, Managing Director of Quantum Energy Limited, stated that "we have decided to extend our offering as we firmly believe OEM players like us are capable of offering competitive pricing that meets customer expectations."
As part of its win-win deal with its customers, Quantum is also providing financing options with the lowest interest rates when compared to traditional fuel-based vehicles.
The Plasma X has a 1500W motor and a 60V 50Ah lithium-ion battery, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in just 7.5 seconds, with a top speed of 65 km/hr and an impressive range of 120 km.
Quantum's Plasma XR, which has a 1500W motor, can reach a top speed of 60 km/hr and a range of 100 km on a single charge.
