Porter launches Intercity courier service for seamless shipping across India

Porter, one of India’s largest tech-based, on-demand logistics companies, has announced the introduction of its Inter-city Courier Services, aimed at transforming the way goods are transported across the country.
This tech-enabled Inter-city delivery offering is set to ease the logistics landscape by providing reliable, affordable, and hassle-free doorstep pickup and delivery services without any additional charges or minimum order requirements to a wide range of customers, including SMEs, retail businesses, and regular consumers.
Initially, the service is available for shipments weighing up to 20 kgs, providing swift and secure transportation across India including Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Kolkata, Surat, Ahmedabad, and Coimbatore, reaching a total of more than 19,000 pin codes. In the coming months, the company plans to amplify its intercity courier capabilities and expand to other Indian cities.
With their purpose of ‘Moving a billion dreams, one delivery at a time’, Porter Intercity enables customers to send goods across cities, the service aims to address key pain points in the intercity logistics industry, including the lack of door-to-door pickup options and the need for affordable and reliable services.
