Kia offers discounts to central paramilitary service personnel
The premium carmaker will extend special pricing on its popular models including the Seltos, Sonet, and Carens to paramilitary forces, state and central police personnel, and Home Ministry employees.
Kia India has announced a partnership with Kendriya Police Kalyan Bhandar (KPKB), an agency that supplies goods to the central paramilitary personnel and their familities, to offer exclusive discounts on its mass segment vehicles to families of active and retired police personnel. The premium carmaker will extend special pricing on its popular models including the Seltos, Sonet, and Carens to paramilitary forces, state and central police personnel, and Home Ministry employees.
Kia vehicles will now be available across 119 master canteens and over 1,900 subsidiary canteens under KPKB. This initiative is set to benefit approximately 35 lakh individuals within the police and paramilitary forces.
To ensure smooth implementation of this offer, Kia has registered 362 dealerships to cater to KPKB demands, making available 88 different trims of their product line.
Kendriya Police Kalyan Bhandar, established in 2006 as a welfare initiative by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs, serves the needs of Central Armed Police Forces including BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB, and Assam Rifles. The benefits also extend to various Central Police Organizations such as IB, BPRD, and NCRB.
Kia India, which began mass production in India in August 2019, has an installed annual production capacity of 300,000 units. The company has already dispatched over 1.2 million vehicles from its Anantapur plant, including domestic sales and exports. With more than 4 lakh connected cars on Indian roads, Kia has established itself as a leader in connected car technology in the country.
