Hero MotoCorp posts 25.6 percent YoY growth in November sales
The automaker sold a total of 4,91,050 two-wheelers in November, against 390,932 units in the year-ago period.
India’s largest two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp today reported a 25.6 percent on-year growth in its wholesales for November. Sales during the month was fuelled by strong festival season demand.
The automaker sold a total of 4,91,050 two-wheelers in November, against 390,932 units in the year-ago period. Domestic sales grew 25.4 percent to 4,76,286 units while exports rose 33.1 percent to 14,764 units.
Hero MotoCorp recorded its highest-ever festive sales with over 1.4 million units in retail sales during the 32-day festive period between the first day of the Navratri and Bhai Dooj.
Total motorcycle sales in November came in at 441,276 units, up 25.1 percent on year. Scooter sales also grew 30.7 percent to 49,774 units.
For the April-November period, the company recorded a growth of 4.7 percent on year to 3.84 million units.
In the coming months, Hero MotoCorp expects a healthy trajectory on account of favourable economic indicators, including the ongoing marriage season and positive consumer sentiments.
