Godawari Electric Motors receives ICAT certification for its Li-ion battery

Godawari Electric Motors, manufacturer of the Eblu range of products, has announced that its 200Ah lithium-ion battery pack which is made by Ruchira Green, has received AIS 156 authorisation under Amendment-III Phase-II from ICAT. 

Godawari Electric Motors has started using these certified batteries in its e-auto Eblu Rozee and e-loader Eblu Reino. The battery was tested extensively and has managed to meet all the safety and performance parameters that are mandated by ICAT (International Centre for Automotive Technology) under the latest amendment. 

Hyder Khan, CEO of Godawari Electric Motors, said that the battery is one of the core components of an EV and with their 200Ah pack receiving ICAT certification, they are compliant with the latest regulations laid down by the governing authorities.

Godawari Electric Motors currently retails the e-auto (L5M) Eblu Rozee and e-bicycle range Eblu Spin and Eblu Thrill which are available in three variants. The company as part of its network expansion strategy has commissioned 28 dealerships across the country.
