Cooper Corporation expands manufacturing operations in Satara
The company inaugurated two state-of-the-art unit and aims to employ over 250 skilled personnel.
Cooper Corporation, a manufacturer of engines, engine components, and generators, has announced a significant expansion of its manufacturing capabilities in Satara, Maharashtra. The company inaugurated two state-of-the-art units, underscoring its commitment to producing high-quality components and boosting the local economy.
The first expansion, located at K10-MIDC Satara, focuses on enhancing Cooper Corporation's foundry capabilities. Equipped with modern and pollution-free automated systems, the facility boasts a substantial built-up area of 52,186 square feet and a remarkable monthly production capacity of 3,500 tons. This expansion positions Cooper Corporation as a preferred choice for domestic and international Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) seeking top-notch components.
The second unit, situated at E1-MIDC Satara, specialises in aluminum high-pressure die casting. Cooper Corporation has invested in advanced technology, including Fanuc Robodrill setup with CNC, VMC, and HMCs, ensuring precision and efficiency in manufacturing processes. Spanning 12,000 square feet, this unit will contribute an additional 500 tons per month to the overall production capacity.
Combined, both facilities will employ over 250 skilled personnel, further bolstering the local economy and job market in Satara.
