CEAT reappoints Arnab Banerjee as MD and CEO

Ceat's Board of Directors has reappointed Arnab Banerjee as the Managing Director and CEO. 

The re-appointment will come into effect from 1 April 2025 for one year, subject to shareholder approval, as per a BSE notification. 

Arnab Banerjee has experience of more than 30 years, during which he has worked at CEAT, Marico and Berger Paints. Banerjee is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School (AMP190), IIM Kolkata and IIT Kharagpur. He also holds a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) Certification.

He joined CEAT in the year 2005 as Vice President- Sales and Marketing. Over the years he has shouldered more responsibilities and has been the Chief Operating Officer at CEAT since 2018 prior to taking over his current role.

The board has also approved the appointment of Praveen Pardeshi as Additional Director, in the capacity of Non-Executive, Independent Director of the company, for a five year period, effective June 17, 2024. 

Gaurav Tongia's appointment as Company Secretary and Compliance Officer has also been approved, with effect from July 1, 2024.
