ZF Aftermarket Opens First ZF [pro]Tech Plus Workshop in India

Mobility tech company ZF Group inaugurated India’s first ZF [pro]Tech plus workshop in New Delhi. The facility marks the beginning of a nationwide rollout aimed at strengthening workshop capabilities and technical expertise in the automotive sector, the company said. 

ZF Aftermarket has been operating workshops for over 40 years. The ZF [pro]Tech network, launched in 2012, provides training, technical knowledge, and service data for workshops. The newly opened facility is the first of its kind in India under the ZF [pro]Tech plus program.

The workshop was inaugurated by Markus Wittig, Global Head of Business Line Passenger Car, ZF Aftermarket, and Vijay Khorgade, Head of Business Line Passenger Car IMEA. Rolly Chadha, Head of European Motor Works and owner of the workshop, was also present at the event.

Wittig stated that the launch reinforces ZF’s commitment to the Indian market. He highlighted that the workshop will enhance support for partners, equipping them to meet industry demands. 

Chadha expressed confidence in the workshop’s impact, emphasizing its benefits for service standards and customer satisfaction. He noted that European Motor Works has had a long association with ZF and looks forward to leveraging the company’s expertise.

ZF [pro]Tech workshops focus on technical knowledge, training, and service support, as per the company. The workshops receive access to technical data, service campaigns, marketing support, and training programs. The ZF [pro]Tech plus model provides on-site support and annual training.

ZF Aftermarket currently operates over 140 ZF [pro]Tech start workshops across India. The company plans to expand both ZF [pro]Tech start and ZF [pro]Tech plus workshops in the next two years.

The opening of the New Delhi workshop is part of ZF Aftermarket’s strategy to increase its presence in India. The company said it aims to introduce more workshops in different regions, supporting the automotive sector with advanced technology and training.
