Volkswagen India Launches Annual Autofest Exchange Program
National Exchange Carnival offers upgrade opportunities with exclusive service benefits and finance options at dealerships nationwide.
Volkswagen India has launched its annual Autofest program, a nationwide exchange carnival designed to provide customers with upgrade opportunities and exclusive benefits across the company's dealership network. The limited-period initiative targets both existing Volkswagen owners and prospective buyers seeking to purchase vehicles from the German automaker's Indian portfolio.
The program operates through Volkswagen's established dealership network across India, offering customers comprehensive exchange services, financing options, and service packages. The initiative encompasses the company's current Indian lineup, which includes the Virtus sedan, Taigun SUV, Tiguan R-Line, and Golf GTI models.
Nitin Kohli, Brand Director at Volkswagen India, stated the program's objective extends beyond sales activities. "Volkswagen Autofest is more than just a sales event—it's a celebration of our commitment to offering Indian customers premium mobility solutions with added value. Whether it's the elegant Virtus, the striking Taigun, or the Beyond betteR Tiguan R-Line, Autofest gives customers the perfect gateway to upgrade their driving experience with unmatched benefits."
The Autofest program incorporates several service components designed to facilitate vehicle transitions. Participating dealerships provide complimentary vehicle evaluations for customers seeking to exchange their current vehicles. The program includes specialized financing arrangements developed to support purchase decisions, alongside loyalty rewards for existing Volkswagen customers.
The Autofest program timeline remains limited, with specific dates and terms available through individual dealerships. Volkswagen's Indian operations are managed through Volkswagen Passenger Cars India, a division of SAVWIPL, with registered offices located in Chakan, Pune.
The 2024 edition of Volkswagen India’s Autofest was part of the brand’s continued focus on streamlining its customer-facing initiatives, particularly in the area of exchange and pre-owned vehicle programs. Conducted between July 3 and July 20, the program included the transition to the 'Volkswagen Certified Pre-Owned' identity, aligning with updates made at the global level. Participation in the event expanded to a wider set of locations, including Tier 2 cities. The 2025 edition continues the format introduced in previous years, offering vehicle exchange opportunities and related services through participating dealerships.
