Sonalika Records Highest January Tractor Sales with 10,350 Units Sold
Surpassing last year's performance, Sonalika Tractors starts 2025 with record January sales of 10,350 units amid favorable agricultural conditions and government support.
Sonalika Tractors has commenced the year 2025 with its highest-ever January sales, recording 10,350 tractors sold overall, marking a significant improvement from 9,769 tractors in January 2024.
The achievement comes amid a promising agricultural landscape, characterized by surging water reservoir levels and favorable La Nina conditions expected to boost Rabi crop acreage. The central government's budget emphasis on the agricultural sector as an economic growth engine further supports the industry's potential.
"We have always lived up to our belief and 3 core philosophies - providing the best products and services, looking after the interests of our stakeholders and doing business ethically without any shortcuts," said Raman Mittal, Joint Managing Director of International Tractors Limited.
Sonalika, which operates in over 150 countries, focuses on manufacturing powerful and efficient farm machinery. In addition to their sales success, Sonalika Tractors has introduced eco-friendly tractor models that comply with the latest emission norms. The company has also partnered with agricultural research institutions like the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) and Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) to develop innovative farming techniques and machinery aimed at increasing crop productivity and reducing operational costs for farmers.
These developments highlight Sonalika's ongoing efforts to enhance its product offerings and contribute to the agricultural sector's growth.
