Royal Enfield has reported its strongest festive season performance, selling 249,279 motorcycles during September and October 2025, representing a 26% increase compared to the same period last year.
The Chennai-based motorcycle manufacturer posted sales of 124,951 units in October alone, marking a 13% year-on-year growth. Domestic sales reached 116,844 units during the month, up 15% from October 2024, while exports stood at 8,107 motorcycles.
For the year-to-date period, Royal Enfield has sold 716,854 motorcycles, reflecting a 27% growth over the previous year. Domestic sales have grown 24% to 638,326 units, while exports surged 49% to 78,528 units.
B. Govindarajan, Managing Director of Eicher Motors Ltd. and CEO of Royal Enfield, attributed the performance to strong customer response across the country. He highlighted the contribution of refreshed models including the Hunter 350 and Meteor 350, alongside established products like the Bullet and Classic ranges.
The company has announced several initiatives, including the second edition of "Journeying Across the Himalayas," a multidisciplinary festival scheduled for December 4-10, 2025, at Travancore Palace in New Delhi. The event will celebrate the cultural and natural heritage of the Himalayan region.
Royal Enfield has also partnered with Amazon to enable online purchases of its 350cc range in five major cities: Ahmedabad, Chennai, Hyderabad, New Delhi, and Pune. The partnership aims to provide customers with enhanced convenience and flexible payment options.
The manufacturer operates through more than 2,000 stores across India and nearly 850 stores in over 60 countries worldwide. Production is handled at two facilities near Chennai, with additional assembly operations in six international locations.
