Nippon Paint India has launched a new n-SHIELD studio in Dehradun, expanding its automotive surface protection network and reinforcing plans to grow premium vehicle care services across North India's fast-growing automotive ownership and travel market.

Nippon Paint India Opens n-SHIELD Studio in Dehradun

Nippon Paint India, part of the NIPSEA Group and a subsidiary of Japan's Nippon Paint Holdings, has opened a new n-SHIELD Studio in Dehradun as part of its ongoing expansion of car care facilities across the country. n-SHIELD is the company's automotive surface protection brand, offering paint protection films, ceramic coatings, detailing products and related vehicle care services.

The Dehradun facility is equipped with modern application infrastructure and is staffed by trained technicians. It offers the full range of n-SHIELD services, including Paint Protection Film (PPF), ceramic coatings, interior protection, glass protection and detailing.

The studio joins n-SHIELD's existing network of certified centres and reflects the brand's approach of extending premium vehicle protection services into emerging automotive markets. According to the company, installations at its studios follow standardised procedures carried out by certified applicators using certified products and quality checks.

The new facility will serve owners of luxury, premium and everyday passenger vehicles, with protection packages designed for different vehicle types and driving conditions.

Nippon Paint India operates as part of the NIPSEA Group, a subsidiary of Nippon Paint Holdings, which the company describes as the world's largest coatings manufacturer with more than 145 years of history. The group, headquartered in Singapore, runs 118 manufacturing facilities across 28 locations and employs more than 31,000 people globally. In India, Nippon Paint operates across six business areas: decorative paints, automotive OEM coatings, automotive refinish and commercial vehicle coatings, wood coatings, industrial coatings and beyond coatings.
