Neolite ZKW Inaugurates Pune Manufacturing Facility
The plant commenced operations in December 2025 and is located near the Mumbai-Pune-Nashik-Aurangabad automotive cluster.
Neolite ZKW Lightings Limited organized a commemorative ceremony for its new automotive lighting products manufacturing facility in Pune, Maharashtra, on Thursday. The ceremony was led by Won Yong Hwang, CEO of ZKW Group GmbH. The plant began operations in December 2025.
The facility is positioned near the Mumbai-Pune-Nashik-Aurangabad automotive cluster, enabling the company to serve customers including JSW MG Motor India Private Limited, Stellantis Automobiles India Private Limited, VE Commercial Vehicles Limited, Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Private Limited, Isuzu Motors India Private Limited, Tata Motors Limited, and Piaggio Vehicles Private Limited.
The Pune plant manufactures automotive lighting products and components including moulding, surface treatment and assembly. The company's portfolio includes over 830 SKUs such as headlamps, tail lamps, signalling equipment, and related components for passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, off-road vehicles, two-wheelers and three-wheelers.
Neolite ZKW has established an independent design centre at the facility equipped with design tools, simulation software, 3D modelling, optical design, prototyping, and validation support. The design centre supports in-house product development capabilities and ensures solutions meet global performance and regulatory standards.
Speaking on the occasion, Won Yong Hwang, CEO, ZKW Group GmbH said, "India continues to emerge as a strategic market for the global automotive industry. Neolite ZKW Lightings Limited manufactures and supplies automotive lighting products and components for OEMs across vehicle categories. The company develops lighting solutions for both electric and internal combustion engine vehicles, with products including advanced LED modules, dynamic DRLs, adaptive front lighting systems, and signature aesthetic lamps. The company also serves the aftermarket segment in India and export markets.
