Montra Electric, through its small commercial vehicle division TIVOLT Electric Vehicles Private Limited, has opened its first electric small commercial vehicle (e-SCV) dealership in Uttar Pradesh. Located in Lucknow, the dealership has been established in collaboration with MG RoadLink as part of the brand’s strategy to grow its presence in northern India.

The new sales showroom is situated at G-1/72, Transport Nagar, opposite Shivani Public School on Kanpur Road. A separate service workshop, equipped with charging infrastructure, has been set up at Plot No. 290, Minjumla, Mohalla Bagh-2, Behsa, Kanpur Road, Lucknow-226008. Both facilities are intended to provide better accessibility and service support to customers in the region.

The dealership was inaugurated by Saju Nair, CEO of TIVOLT Electric Vehicles Private Limited, and Ashish Agrawal, Director of MG RoadLink. The event was attended by key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and local dealers.

The Lucknow outlet will offer Montra Electric’s EVIATOR e-SCV, which features a certified range of 245 km and an estimated real-world range of 170 km. It is powered by an 80 kW motor with 300 Nm of torque and comes with an extended warranty of up to 7 years or 2.5 lakh kilometers. The vehicle also includes telematics to support fleet management and improve operational uptime.

Speaking at the launch, Nair stated that Uttar Pradesh is an important market for Montra Electric and that this dealership represents a key step in serving the evolving needs of commercial vehicle customers. Agrawal noted that the collaboration aims to improve customer access to electric commercial vehicles and strengthen the regional EV infrastructure.

Montra Electric continues to expand its dealership and service network across India, focusing on providing electric mobility solutions tailored for logistics and commercial applications.

The brand operates under TI Clean Mobility Private Limited, part of the Murugappa Group, a diversified conglomerate with businesses in agriculture, engineering, financial services, and more.
