MG M9 Presidential Limousine Launched in India at Rs 69.90 Lakhs

JSW MG Motor India has launched the MG M9, an electric luxury limousine, under its premium channel MG Select. Priced at an introductory ex-showroom rate of Rs 69.90 lakhs, the MG M9 is now available for bookings through the MG Select website and Experience Centres. Deliveries will commence from August 10, 2025.

The MG M9 is powered by a 90-kWh NMC battery, delivering a claimed range of 548 km on a single charge. The electric powertrain produces 245 PS of power and 350 Nm of torque. The battery supports fast charging, enabling 30% to 80% charge in about 30 minutes. Customers will receive an 11-kW wall box charger with installation, along with a 3.3-kW portable charger. MG offers a lifetime high-voltage battery warranty for the first owner and a standard vehicle warranty of three years with unlimited kilometres.

Inside the M9, comfort is a key focus with features such as 16-way adjustable seats, massage functions, heating and ventilation, all operated via an intelligent armrest. The cabin is equipped with a dual sunroof, 64-colour ambient lighting, and a 13-speaker sound system. Additional interior highlights include Cognac brown leather and suede upholstery, a 55-litre frunk, and a maximum luggage space of 1720 litres.

The exterior design features a trapezoidal mesh grille, connected LED DRLs, split LED headlamps, and a waterfall-style rear LED light setup. The M9 is available in Pearl Lustre White, Metal Black, and Concrete Grey, and comes with 19-inch ContiSeal self-sealing tyres and heated ORVMs.

The vehicle meets global safety standards, holding 5-star ratings from both EURO NCAP and ANCAP. It is built with high-strength steel and includes seven airbags and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) with a driver monitoring function.

Customers can experience and book the M9 at 14 MG Select Experience Centres located in 13 major cities. Bookings can also be made online or by contacting the Elite Hub call centre.

Formed as a joint venture between SAIC Motor and the JSW Group in 2023, JSW MG Motor India aims to expand the country’s EV landscape with a focus on localization, innovation, and job creation.

MG Select is the luxury vehicle division of JSW MG Motor India. It focuses on electric and premium mobility solutions and will offer vehicles like the MG M9 and MG Cyberster through specialised Experience Centres across India.
