MATTER Introduces Lifetime Battery Warranty for Electric Motorbike AERA
The warranty ensures long-term reliability for EV riders in India.
MATTER has launched India’s first Lifetime Battery Warranty for its electric motorbike, AERA, under MATTER Care. The initiative aims to eliminate concerns around battery life and strengthen consumer confidence in electric vehicle ownership.
The warranty is enabled by MATTER’s in-house development of battery packs and Battery Management Systems (BMS). Following extensive testing across various terrains and temperatures, the company’s battery technology has demonstrated durability, performance, and safety, allowing MATTER to offer this industry-first warranty.
“When you ride with MATTER, we ride with you—for life. Our riders shouldn’t have to worry about what powers their bike. This Lifetime Battery Warranty is our way of saying: we’ve got your back,” said Mohal Lalbhai, Founder & CEO, MATTER. “It’s a bold step, but it’s built on bold innovation. We want more people to embrace electric, and this is our commitment to making that journey worry-free.”
MATTER has also pioneered the use of liquid-cooled battery technology in electric two-wheelers, ensuring thermal stability and efficiency in varying Indian weather and road conditions.
Battery replacement is one of the most significant costs for EV owners. With a lifetime warranty, MATTER offers riders greater affordability and dependability, allowing them to focus on their journeys without additional financial concerns.
The Lifetime Battery Warranty is now available for all new customers of MATTER’s electric motorbike range, reinforcing the company’s mission to accelerate mainstream adoption of electric mobility in India.
