Maruti launches special Regal Edition of Baleno

Maruti has launched a special Regal Edition of the Baleno this festive season in a bid to attract more buyers. This special version brings along a range of complementary accessories, and is available across all variants.

 

Maruti Baleno Regal Edition: what’s new

As a part of the Regal Edition, the complementary accessories on offer with the Baleno include a front underbody spoiler, a rear underbody spoiler, dual-tone seat covers, 3D mats, side mouldings, mud flaps, 3D boot mat, chrome garnish for the grille and the rear, steering cover, fog lamps on variants that don't get them, a vacuum cleaner, a body cover, Nexa cushions, door visors, sill guards, rear parcel tray, window curtains, tyre inflator, logo projector lamp and chrome door handles. The package cost between Rs 45,829 and Rs 60,199, depending on the variant; however, it's available free of cost for now.

The premium hatch gets a sole 90hp, 113Nm, 1.2-litre four-cylinder NA petrol engine, with the option of a CNG kit with the Delta and Zeta variants. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT.

Pricing for the Baleno starts from Rs 6.66 lakh, going up to Rs 9.83 lakh (ex-showroom). The Baleno directly rivals the Hyundai i20 and Tata Altroz.
