JBM Auto Reports 20% Rise in Q4 Net Profit, Secures Major Electric Bus Order
JBM Auto reports year-on-year growth in net profit, revenue, and EBIDTA for Q4 FY25, supported by new electric bus orders, product launches, and deliveries across multiple cities under ongoing public and private initiatives.
JBM Auto Limited, one of India's prominent automotive and electric vehicle manufacturers, has reported a consolidated net profit of ₹66 crore for the fourth quarter of FY25, marking a 20.21% increase over the ₹54.90 crore recorded in Q4FY24.
The company’s total sales, including other operating income, grew by 10.75% to ₹1,645.70 crore in Q4FY25, compared to ₹1,485.95 crore in the same period last year. Earnings before interest, depreciation, taxes, and amortization (EBIDTA) rose by 20.56% to ₹213.60 crore from ₹177.18 crore in Q4FY24.
Profit before tax for the quarter reached ₹90.49 crore, representing a 10.87% increase from ₹81.62 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Earnings per share improved to ₹2.81, up from ₹2.36.
For the full financial year ended March 31, 2025, JBM Auto posted net sales of ₹5,472.33 crore, compared to ₹5,009.35 crore in FY24. Net profit for the year stood at ₹200.75 crore, up from ₹177.80 crore, and full-year earnings per share increased to ₹8.54 from ₹7.56.
During the quarter, JBM Auto secured an order for 1,021 electric buses under the PM e-Bus Seva Scheme-2. The estimated value of this order is approximately ₹5,500 crore. The company also launched several new electric buses at the Bharat Mobility Show 2025, which included a luxury electric sleeper coach, an intercity bus, a medical mobile unit, and a tarmac coach.
JBM electric buses were deployed in several cities across Haryana, including Rewari, Sonipat, Hissar, Rohtak, and Ambala. The company delivered an electric staff bus to Maruti Suzuki and supplied a shuttle bus to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for staff transportation.
Additionally, the JBM Galaxy Electric Luxury Coach received recognition as the ‘Coach of the Year’ at the Apollo CV Awards. The company also highlighted a strong order pipeline in its OEM and Tool Room Division, which is expected to support its growth trajectory in the coming quarters.
