Hero MotoCorp, which has held the position of world's largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters since its separation from Honda in 2011, further strengthened its motorsports presence as Hero MotoSports Team Rally finished seventh in the Dakar Rally 2025, marking its second-best performance in nine years following a second-place finish in 2024.

The company noted that the Union Budget 2025 presentation indicates support for rural development and inclusive growth across India, factors that could influence the two-wheeler market's performance.
