Eveium Smart Mobility and SunEdge Deliver First Batch of 150 Electric Scooters in Pune

Eveium Smart Mobility and SunEdge have announced the successful delivery of the first batch of 150 electric scooters in Pune, marking a key development in their recently formed partnership aimed at expanding electric vehicle (EV) adoption across India.

The delivery ceremony took place at The Orchid Hotel in Balewadi, Pune, and was attended by key stakeholders, including Chhagan Rathod, Chairman and Managing Director of SunEdge; Sameer Moidin, Founder and CEO of Eveium Smart Mobility; and Dr. Ashok Todmal, a noted life and business coach.

The collaboration brings together Eveium Smart Mobility, an electric two-wheeler brand under Ellysium Automotives, and SunEdge, a well-established name in automotive distribution. The partnership aims to leverage Eveium’s EV technology and SunEdge’s distribution network to target the sale of 10,000 electric scooters within one year across various Indian markets.

Sameer Moidin, CEO of Eveium Smart Mobility, stated that the delivery of the first 150 units reflects progress toward broader sustainability goals. “This milestone aligns with our objective to promote environmentally responsible transportation through innovation and accessible electric mobility solutions,” he said.

Chhagan Rathod, CMD of SunEdge, emphasized the importance of transitioning to cleaner transportation alternatives. “Electric vehicles represent a significant shift in personal mobility, with long-term benefits for urban environments and energy efficiency. Our partnership with Eveium supports this transition by offering reliable, high-performance electric two-wheelers to consumers,” Rathod noted.

The delivered models are part of Eveium’s latest lineup of electric scooters, featuring advanced battery technology, zero tailpipe emissions, and design focused on rider comfort and safety. These vehicles cater to the increasing consumer demand for sustainable urban transport options.

Industry observers view the partnership as a strategic move to strengthen market presence in the growing Indian EV sector. The initial delivery in Pune is expected to be followed by expanded rollouts in other regions as part of a nationwide distribution plan.

Eveium Smart Mobility, headquartered under Ellysium Automotives, focuses on developing electric two-wheelers with an emphasis on durability, safety, and smart mobility features. The company utilizes India’s evolving manufacturing infrastructure to scale production and improve accessibility.

SunEdge, known for its presence in the automotive distribution space, aims to enhance its portfolio of sustainable mobility offerings through this collaboration.

The partnership’s success will be measured by sales performance, customer adoption, and contribution to reduced carbon emissions in urban transportation. With the first delivery completed, both companies are positioning for further expansion in the Indian EV market.
