Castrol India Appoints V Kaushik Vedula as VP and Head of Marketing

Castrol India Limited has appointed V Kaushik Vedula as Vice President and Head of Marketing, effective February 2, 2026. The appointment was disclosed to BSE Limited and National Stock Exchange of India Limited under SEBI regulations.

The position became vacant following the resignation of Rohit Talwar, who stepped down as Vice President and Head of Marketing on August 8, 2025. The company had informed stock exchanges about Talwar's resignation on June 10, 2025.

Vedula brings over two decades of experience across consumer goods, fast-moving consumer durables, and digital businesses. He began his career in 2004 and has held marketing, new business development, and profit-and-loss responsibilities in large organizations and entrepreneurial settings.

In his most recent role, Vedula served as Vice President of Marketing at Emami Limited, where he oversaw brand and business strategy across multiple categories. Prior to that, he was Vice President at Quess Corp, where he built and scaled a digital product business and led growth initiatives.

Vedula spent seven years running an entrepreneurial venture in the business-to-business-to-consumer space, working with consumer brands on retail development and execution. During the first decade of his career, he worked with Procter & Gamble, Nokia, and Philips in roles spanning brand management, consumer marketing, category development, and multi-channel sales management.

Vedula holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from IIIT Hyderabad.
