Bike Bazaar Partners with E-Sprinto for 10,000 Electric Scooters
Company announces fleet expansion at rider safety event in Bengaluru, targeting last-mile delivery market across India
Bike Bazaar EV Rentals announced a partnership with electric two-wheeler manufacturer E-Sprinto to deploy 10,000 electric scooters across India during a rider safety event held at its Bengaluru facility today.
The announcement came during a rider safety and customer engagement meet that drew over 100 participants, including riders, transport department officials, and police representatives. The collaboration aims to strengthen India's last-mile delivery ecosystem through expanded electric vehicle availability.
Mr. Atul Gupta, Director at E-Sprinto, said the partnership represents a move toward transforming last-mile delivery in India. He emphasized that the company's scooters are designed for high mileage, durability, and low maintenance to meet the demands of India's delivery economy.
Mr. Satbir Singh, Business Head for EV and New Business Initiatives at Bike Bazaar, described the partnership as part of the company's mission to provide safer and more reliable electric vehicle solutions for gig economy workers. He characterized riders as central to the company's operations rather than simply customers.
Transport department officials participated in the event to address safety concerns. Mr. Chandra Shekar Patil, a senior RTO official from Bengaluru's Transport Department, commended Bike Bazaar's efforts to engage directly with riders on safety education and community building among electric vehicle users.
Traffic Inspector Kundhan from Hennur briefed attendees on updated traffic safety guidelines, focusing on helmet usage, speed limits, and lane discipline for delivery riders navigating urban roads.
The event included free vehicle inspections, helmet distribution, and safety awareness sessions as part of Bike Bazaar's rider engagement initiatives.
Bike Bazaar operates as a two-wheeler lifecycle company, offering financing for new and pre-owned vehicles alongside electric mobility services including leasing and rental programs. The company targets both urban and rural markets in India and has expanded its focus on electric vehicle solutions in recent years.
E-Sprinto manufactures electric two-wheelers and positions itself as a growing brand in India's electric vehicle sector, emphasizing sustainability and safety in its product development.
