Bijliride Deploys ₹2.1 Crore Investment for Fleet Expansion and Team Growth

Electric vehicle rental startup Bijliride has deployed ₹2.1 crore over the past six months for fleet expansion, technology development, and team growth, scaling its operations to over 4,000 EVs across major Indian cities including Hyderabad and Bengaluru.

The capital, raised through High Net-Worth Individual investors in January 2025, has enabled the mobility-tech company to expand its services and strengthen its market position. The funding round valued Bijliride at ₹21 crore post-money valuation.

The strategic deployment of funds has positioned Bijliride to achieve three times growth in both fleet size and revenues during the current fiscal year. The company is expanding across Tier-1 cities including Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, and Chennai while enhancing its enterprise-focused fleet management services for logistics, e-commerce, and last-mile delivery sectors.

Since its establishment, Bijliride has maintained 25% month-on-month growth, offering flexible rental options, round-the-clock battery swapping services, on-road breakdown support, and fleet leasing solutions for businesses. The company provides these services through its SaaS-powered platform focused on urban mobility challenges.

Bijliride is preparing for a follow-on funding round of USD 2-3 million (₹16-24 crore) to expand its fleet to over 10,000 vehicles and extend operations to more than 10 cities nationwide. The company targets serving one million users by 2030 through its franchise-led expansion model.

Shivam Sisodiya, Co-Founder and CEO of Bijliride, said: "The capital we raised earlier this year has been instrumental in fuelling our growth over the past six months. We have strengthened our fleet, scaled our technology, and expanded our team to serve both individual and enterprise customers more effectively. Each milestone brings us closer to our vision of building a greener, smarter, and more sustainable mobility ecosystem for India."

Founded in 2020, Bijliride operates as India's electric two-wheeler rental platform, addressing urban pollution and rising commuting costs through its technology-integrated approach to sustainable transportation solutions.
