Bharat Forge and VVDN Technologies Sign MoU for Strategic Collaboration

Bharat Forge, a Pune-based manufacturing and engineering conglomerate, and VVDN Technologies, a Gurugram-headquartered product engineering and electronics manufacturing firm, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore a strategic collaboration across several technology-driven sectors.

Under the terms of the MoU, the two companies intend to jointly pursue development opportunities spanning automotive systems, defence applications, artificial intelligence infrastructure, and data centre platforms. The agreement is framed around leveraging complementary capabilities: VVDN brings expertise in electronics design, software development, and system integration, while Bharat Forge contributes advanced manufacturing and precision engineering capabilities.

The partnership is positioned within the context of broader trends in generative AI, autonomous systems, and sustainable compute, with both companies stating an intent to contribute to global AI ecosystem development through the collaboration.

Amit Kalyani, Vice Chairman and Joint Managing Director of Bharat Forge, noted that the alliance is aligned with the company's strategy of fostering partnerships that support innovation, operational efficiency, and long-term value creation for clients and stakeholders.

Puneet Agarwal, CEO of VVDN Technologies, described the partnership as consistent with the company's focus on driving innovation through advanced engineering and digital technologies, with a particular emphasis on accelerating next-generation solution development across automotive, defence, and data centre ecosystems.

Both companies framed the MoU as an expression of a shared commitment to innovation, quality, and sustained collaboration. No financial terms or timelines for specific deliverables were disclosed in the announcement.

Bharat Forge was founded in 1961 and is among the world's largest forging firms. The group operates across engineering steel, automotive components, renewable energy, infrastructure, defence, and aerospace sectors.

VVDN Technologies was founded in 2007 and operates as an Original Design Manufacturer (ODM), delivering end-to-end solutions across 5G, networking, automotive, IoT, vision-based AI/ML, and cloud domains, with design centres and manufacturing facilities in India and offices in the United States.
