Anand Kumar Takes Charge of Brand and Communications at Olectra Greentech

Olectra Greentech Limited has appointed Anand Kumar as Head of Brand, Marketing, Digital and Communications. Based in Hyderabad, Kumar will be responsible for driving the company's brand strategy, marketing and digital initiatives, and corporate communications at a time when electric buses and clean mobility solutions are gaining momentum across India.

Kumar joins Olectra from Switch Mobility, where he led the Brand, Marketing, Digital and Communications function. During his stint, he grew within the organisation from Senior Manager to Head of the function, contributing to the company's brand-building efforts and outreach in the electric mobility space.

Before Switch Mobility, Kumar was part of Ashok Leyland, where he worked as Marketing Communications Manager, gaining hands-on experience in brand and communication strategy within the commercial vehicle industry. He has also held product and marketing roles at Panasonic.

He began his career at ASKME, moving from Management Trainee to Assistant Marketing Manager, and building a strong foundation across branding, product marketing, digital campaigns and communications.
