Honda’s all-new SUV for China to get world premiere at Beijing Motor Show
Honda Motor (China), a wholly-owned Honda subsidiary in China, is to have the world premiere of the production model of an all-new SUV developed exclusively for the Chinese market.

The Japanese carmaker will take the covers off the latest made-for-China product at the 14th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition (Auto China 2016) which is to be held from April 25-May 4, 2016. At the show, Honda will have a joint booth with Guangqi Honda Automobile Co and Dongfeng Honda Automobile Co.
The SUV is based on the Concept D (pictured above), which was unveiled at Auto Shanghai 2015 and reveals the direction of the upcoming mass-production SUV model. The new made-for-China SUV is being billed as a top-end model that offers high-quality driving and houses a spacious cabin. Equipped with advanced safety technologies and other features, the Concept D-based SUV model will go on sale from both Guangqi Honda and Dongfeng Honda, positioned as a new flagship model of Honda in China.
New Accord Hybrid for China
Honda will also showcase the all-new Accord Hybrid which will become the first hybrid model it will produce in China starting in the second half of this year, as well as the all-new Civic.

Meanwhile, there will also be an Acura exhibit will include all-new models such as a new compact SUV, which will become the first Acura model to be produced locally in China.
