Tata Motors Group global wholesales cross 1 lakh mark in September
Cumulative wholesales for the fiscal stood at 537,187 units, up 12% over 2015-16.
The Tata Motors Group, which includes Jaguar Land Rover, crossed the 1 lakh mark in September 2016 with sales of 102,289 units, up 5% over the same month last year. Cumulative wholesales for the fiscal stood at 537,187 units, up 12% over 2015-16.
Global wholesales of all Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles and the Tata Daewoo range in September 2016 remained flat at 34,394 units. Cumulative commercial vehicles wholesales for April-September 2016 were higher by 4% over the same period last year at 188,758 units.
Further, the Group sold a total of 67,895 passenger vehicles in the reported month, up 7% YoY, while the cumulative PV wholesales for the fiscal stood at 348,429 units, higher by 6% over April-September 2015.
Global wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover were 52,914 vehicles last month – 16,211 Jaguars and 36,703 Land Rovers. Cumulative JLR sales for April-September 2016 were 273,561 vehicles – 78,190 Jaguars and 195,371 Rovers.
