Tata Motors opens three new CV dealerships in Karnataka

Tata Motors, the leader in the Indian commercial vehicle space with a 45 percent market share in Q1, FY2016, is expanding its network across the country. The company has a comprehensive line-up of commercial vehicles, ranging from the 0.5 tonne Magic Iris and Ace Zip to the 49-tonne Prima HCV range.  

Earlier today, Tata Motors inaugurated a new 3S (Sales, Services & Spares) dealership called Prerana Motors Regio, in Tumkur, Karnataka. Two more 3S dealerships are being set up in Davangere and Chitradurga towns. While the Tumkur facility is spread across 6,800 square metres, the Davangere unit spans over 7,500 square metres, and the yet-to- be-opened Chitradurga facility is a 4,000 square metre unit.

The new showroom in Tumkur is a single-point 3S hub and has a 22-bay service facility which can attend up to 50 vehicles a day. Customers can also avail of Tata Motors’ service offerings like Tata Alert, Tata Fleetman, Triple Benefit Insurance, Tata Motors 4-year warranty and Extended Service Intervals for its M&HCV range. The dealership is also equipped with mobile workshops for 24x7 customer support.

Speaking at the opening of the Tumkur unit, Mukund Krishnamurthy, regional manager – South, Commercial Vehicle Business Unit, Tata Motors, said: “Tata Motors is delighted to partner Prerana Motors Regio to ensure a robust and comprehensive experience for our customers in Karnataka, ably supported by three new 3S facilities. Through initiatives like this, we hope to proactively take steps for better delivery of our products and services, not only in Karnataka, but across the country.”
