Romax to set up CoE in Pune
Romax Technology plans to set up a Centre of Excellence for CAD and CAE in Pune, designed to provide quality engineering knowledge to Romax’s worldwide customer base. With Romax’s technical engineering services and RomaxDesigner software seeing good global demand, the company believes its Indian operations can better serve customers in Asia, USA and the UK.

The new office will see the development of a fully competent engineering centre providing quality engineering knowledge to Romax’s worldwide know-how customer base. Future plans will see Romax implement a strategy to strengthen and increase the existing skilled team to over 50 employees within the next few years.

According to Younsu Park, director of transport engineering, Romax Technologies, “Our engineering team in India will take responsibility for delivering advanced engineering services and technical support for all of our customers around the world. This will enable more innovative R&D work to be carried out at Romax headquarters in Nottingham, UK. Having the majority of the CAD and CAE know-how centrally located will enable the specialists to work together creating synergy and momentum and benefit our global customers."
