Greaves Cotton expands its retail presence with 100th service retail outlet

Engineering solution major Greaves Cotton opened its 100th organised service retail outlet (Greaves Care), which it says will cater to the current as well as future vehicles in the mobility segment. The company aims to continue to deliver higher lifetime value for end customers at the bottom-of-the-pyramid with professional service.

Commenting on the milestone,  Nagesh Basavanhalli, managing director and CEO, Greaves Cotton, said, “Greaves Care is a step closer to the customer in providing assurance to customers in the last mile segment. We aim to provide quality customer experience enhancing productivity for the last mile user. Greaves Care is a significant step towards delivering a rewarding retail experience, as we organise the existing unorganised service. This 100th service centre strengthens our commitment to the market and supports our future foray to support future products and services.”

The company explains that Greaves Care offers quality repairs by company-trained mechanics, certified quality spare parts, quick service, transparent operations with a 6 months’ warranty on select parts. It also offers end-to-end vehicle service covering body, engine, transmission, electrical, lubricants and more through all of its 100 stores which it says have a standardised branded look and feel, with customer-centric process and systems.

The company says that the outlets enable quick turnaround time for customers which ensures that they get higher uptime on road, improved productivity and higher earning opportunity. The outlet also has customer lounge, internet access along with other entertainment services. They are also provided with advice on vehicle upkeep and maintenance. In addition, the company also plans to have more frequent service camps, on-road assistance and night camps to reach out to the customers.
