Bridgestone’s Ecopia EP150 is OE fitment on Honda WR-V

Bridgestone says Ecopia is a low-rolling resistance tyre which improves fuel consumption that in turn saves fuel cost by up to 7%.

Bridgestone India has announced its association for OE fitment of its Ecopia EP150 tyre on the recently launched Honda WR-V. The H-rated Ecopia EP150 has a tyre size of 195/60R16 with a load index of 89.  

According to Katsuyuki Yamamura, director of Consumer Products, Bridgestone India, “We are proud to be associated with Honda’s newly launched premium sports lifestyle vehicle, the WR-V. The WR-V showcases best- in-class fuel efficiency which resonates with our environmental-friendly tyre range – Ecopia. EP150 tyres help in achieving better rolling resistance without compromising wear life, wet handling and durability. Ecopia is a low-rolling resistance tyre which improves fuel consumption that in turn saves  fuel cost by up to 7% and also contributes to the reduction of CO2 emission.”

Bridgestone says the Ecopia EP150’s key features comprise excellent braking performance, improved fuel efficiency; low noise for a quieter, more comfortable ride, superior wear resistance, and exceptional handling in hazardous and wet conditions.
