Zypp Electric appoints Gajendra Arya as Senior Vice President of Technology

Zypp Electric, an EV-as-a-service platform, has appointed Gajendra Arya as the Senior Vice President of Technology. Arya will be responsible for driving the technology roadmap of Zypp Electric, creating and ideating the product journey and building a robust and scalable platform.

Arya brings over a decade of experience in building startups, having previously worked with CarDekho as Senior Associate Director and in Escrowpay as the Chief Technology Officer.

Akash Gupta, Co-Founder and CEO, Zypp Electric said that Gajendra Arya would especially work on the company’s AI roadmap, in last mile and electric vehicles, and will be “instrumental in creating a robust global EV platform leveraging latest tech innovations like ChatGPT, Open AI and many others.”

The company plans to incorporate advanced automation processes, including an auto-pilot mode, preventive maintenance triggers, autonomous roadmap for delivery.

Zypp Electric has recently raised US$ 25 million in Series B, led by Gogoro, with participation from Goodyear Ventures, 9 Unicorns, WFC, Venture, Catalysts, LetsVenture, IAN, Ivy Growth, and Grip.
