Zoomcar, the car sharing marketplace in emerging markets, and CARS24, an AutoTech platform for pre-owned cars, have announced a strategic partnership aimed at empowering local hosts in their car sharing endeavours. Through this alliance, Zoomcar Hosts will benefit from tailored offerings from CARS24 on used car purchases and flexible financing options, enabling them to accelerate their success and expand their fleet.
The partnership offers significant advantages to Zoomcar Hosts, including substantial savings of up to Rs 1 lakh and additional benefits of up to Rs 20,000 on pre-inspected and certified used car purchases from CARS24. This collaboration addresses the need for affordable and reliable vehicles, empowering hosts to expand their business presence with lower upfront capital investment and boost their earnings significantly.
Greg Moran, CEO and Co-founder of Zoomcar said, "Reducing the cost to acquire a vehicle is a fundamental part of our longer-term strategy to democratise vehicle access for millions of potential vehicle-owning micro-entrepreneurs across the country. This partnership with CARS24 enables us to unlock incremental value for our host ecosystem through customised financing products."
