ZF Group showcases Intelligent System Solutions for future construction at EXCON India 2023

ZF Group, a global leader in driveline technology, showcased its expertise in intelligent system solutions for the construction industry at EXCON India 2023 in Bengaluru. The exhibition demonstrated ZF's commitment to addressing the evolving needs of the construction sector, emphasising flexibility, rapid development cycles, and sustainability.

Electric Drive Solutions

ZF introduced the eTRAC electric drive system, providing zero-emission technologies without compromising performance. The modular design allows easy adaptation for various construction applications, offering low noise, efficiency, and robust mechanical drivelines. The eCD (electric Central Drive) system is specifically designed for backhoe loaders, ensuring the same output as conventional drivetrains.

Brake-by-Wire Solutions

ZF's electrohydraulic braking solution supports the transition to electric and autonomous vehicle applications. The brake-by-wire system allows vehicle manufacturers to control deceleration electronically, eliminating the need for hydraulic lines in the cab. The system comprises an electronic pedal, electrohydraulic brake valve, and a universal controller, offering ease of installation and customisable pedal response.

Intelligent Mechanical Systems for Forklifts

ZF develops intelligent mechanical systems for both internal combustion (IC) forklifts and electric forklifts. The product range caters to various vehicle categories and technology levels, ensuring tailored and efficient driveline solutions. The eTRAC GP25 model range for electric forklifts has been extended with a Heavy-Duty version, providing solutions for larger forklifts with increased wheel load capacity.

Localisation for "Make in India"

ZF emphasises a high level of localisation in its product range, aligning with the "Make in India" initiative. The company aims to provide products manufactured with global quality standards, reinforcing its commitment to the Indian market.

EXCON India 2023 serves as a platform for ZF Group to showcase its innovations and solutions that contribute to low or zero emissions, increased productivity, and sustainability in the construction industry.

The intelligent system solutions presented by ZF Group underscore its position as a technological leader with system competence, addressing the dynamic challenges and future requirements of the construction sector.
