ZF Aftermarket Launches Agricultural Tractor Clutch Range in India
Global automotive technology supplier introduces SACHS Clutch Discs and Kits combining German engineering with local manufacturing, targeting enhanced product availability across India, Middle East, and Africa markets for agricultural equipment operators.
ZF Aftermarket has announced the launch of a new range of SACHS Clutch Discs and Kits designed specifically for agricultural tractors. The products combine the company's engineering standards with manufacturing facilities located in India, aiming to serve markets across India, the Middle East, and Africa.
The clutch solutions are engineered for agricultural applications, featuring friction linings designed for stability and construction built to withstand operational demands in farming environments. The products include heat dissipation features and corrosion-resistant components.
According to Abhishek Verma, Head of ZF Aftermarket for the India Region, the launch represents a development in the company's regional growth strategy. The products are intended to address market requirements through local manufacturing while maintaining engineering standards established by the global organization.
Andre Scholle, Head of ZF Aftermarket for the IMEA region, stated that the agricultural clutch introduction aligns with the company's operational strategy. The products are designed to provide functionality in agricultural working environments.
The product range features several technical specifications: friction linings for performance consistency, construction suitable for agricultural operating cycles, and design elements intended to reduce noise and vibration during operation. The clutches are engineered for compatibility across multiple agricultural tractor models.
Installation and maintenance considerations have been incorporated into the product design, with features aimed at reducing equipment downtime. The components include engine and gearbox shielding for protection during operation.
The new clutch range will be displayed at ACMA Automechanika 2026, taking place February 5-7 at Yashobhoomi in New Delhi. The company will also showcase additional products including brake pads, telematics systems, and pneumatic solutions at the event.
ZF operates 161 production facilities across 30 countries and employs approximately 161,600 people globally. The company reported sales of €41.4 billion in fiscal year 2024. ZF Aftermarket serves the replacement parts market for automotive and industrial equipment sectors.
