ZETWERK appoints manufacturing veteran Vinod Kumar Dasari to board
Dasari's four decades of experience expected to guide strategic growth and innovation in the company's operations.
ZETWERK, a contract manufacturing marketplace, has announced the addition of Vinod Kumar Dasari to its board of directors effective July 1, 2024. Dasari brings nearly four decades of experience in manufacturing across various sectors, including automotive and engineering.
This appointment comes as ZETWERK expands into sectors such as Consumer Electronics, Aerospace, Renewables, and Industrials. Dasari's experience is expected to provide strategic insights to the company's leadership team.
Amrit Acharya, Co-founder & CEO of ZETWERK, expressed confidence that Dasari's understanding of manufacturing complexities and leadership skills will contribute to the company's growth.
Dasari stated his enthusiasm for joining ZETWERK's board, noting the company's innovative approach in the manufacturing sector.
Currently, Dasari serves as an Operating Partner at private equity firm Advent International. His previous roles include CEO of Royal Enfield from 2019 to 2021, where he led the brand's global expansion and product innovation. He also held leadership positions at Ashok Leyland, including CEO and Managing Director, where he contributed to the company's development as a commercial vehicle manufacturer.
Dasari's experience extends to roles at Cummins India and The Timken Company, where he developed expertise in manufacturing operations, strategy, and business development.
The board of directors at ZETWERK now includes industry veterans like Sanjiv Rangrass, investors such as Prayank Swaroop, Shailesh Lakhani, Vaibhav Agarwal, and ZETWERK's co-founders Srinath Ramakkrushnan and Amrit Acharya.
ZETWERK anticipates that Dasari's experience and leadership will contribute to the company's ongoing efforts in the contract manufacturing industry.
