ZELO Electric Introduces Limited-Edition Pink Scooter to Mark International Women's Day

ZELO Electric has announced the launch of the Knight+ Rani Edition, a limited-edition variant of its flagship electric scooter available exclusively in a baby pink colourway. The company has capped production at 999 units nationwide, with bookings open through its authorised dealer network.

The edition is timed to coincide with International Women's Day and is priced at ₹69,990 ex-showroom — the same as the standard Knight+ model. The Rani Edition carries over the full feature set and specifications of the base platform, with the limited-edition status confined to the colour and finish.

Mechanically, the scooter is built on the Knight+ platform launched in August 2025. It is powered by a 1.8 kWh portable lithium iron phosphate battery with a claimed range of 100 km, a 1.5 kW motor, and a top speed of 55 km/h. The battery is removable, allowing riders to charge it away from the vehicle.

The scooter includes several features the company describes as segment-firsts: hill hold control, cruise control, follow-me-home headlamps, and a USB charging port.

Mukund Baheti, co-founder of ZELO Electric, said the colour selection was shaped by the cultural connotations of the word "Rani" in India, and that the edition was designed to reflect individuality and confident decision-making. The company said the launch is also part of a broader aim to encourage greater participation of women in two-wheeler mobility, while keeping the product open to all riders.

ZELO Electric operates under SLSR Electro Pvt Ltd and has expanded its dealer presence across several Indian markets over the past four years.
