Zelio E-Mobility to Add 250 Jobs This Fiscal, Cross 500 Employees
Electric two- and three-wheeler maker Zelio E-Mobility plans to expand its workforce past 500 this fiscal year, with hiring focused on its Hisar, Bhubaneswar and Coimbatore plants.
Zelio E-Mobility, an electric two- and three-wheeler manufacturer, has announced a major workforce expansion as part of its next phase of growth, with plans to scale its manufacturing, leadership, R&D and sales capabilities across its three facilities in India.
The company currently employs around 260 people across its plants in Hisar, Bhubaneswar and Coimbatore. Under its hiring plan for the current financial year, Zelio aims to take its total headcount beyond 500, with 100 new employees planned for Hisar, 50 for Bhubaneswar, and 100 for Coimbatore. The Coimbatore facility, the company's most recent addition, is expected to account for a significant share of the new hiring as it prepares for commissioning and scale-up.
The recruitment drive will focus on strengthening operational and strategic functions, including plant heads, R&D professionals, production planning and quality experts, and zonal sales leaders. The company is also expanding its service and after-sales teams to support its growing dealer network.
Divyanshu Agarwal, CEO of Zelio E-Mobility, said the company has positioned itself as people-first since its inception, with a focus on creating local employment wherever it sets up operations, alongside its manufacturing growth.
Zelio currently operates a network of over 400 dealers across more than 25 states, and aims to expand to over 550 dealerships by FY27, with a particular focus on South India and the North-East.
