Youdha Launches ePod G Electric Three-Wheeler Cargo Vehicle
The E-CV maker expands its ePod platform into goods transportation with 545 kg payload and 180 km range.
Youdha has announced the launch of the ePod G, expanding its ePod product range into the last-mile cargo transportation segment following the initial market rollout of its passenger electric three-wheeler.
The ePod G is powered by an 11.8 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery paired with a 6 kW, three-phase PMS motor. Built on a monocoque chassis, the vehicle delivers a claimed range of 170 to 180 km under standard test conditions, a payload capacity of 545 kg, and a gross vehicle weight of 1,000 kg. It offers a top speed below 50 kmph and a full charge time of four to five hours.
The electric three-wheeler will be offered in a half-deck configuration alongside four closed box load-body variants. Equipment includes hydraulic brakes, heavy-duty steel rims, 120/80-R12 8PR tyres, LED headlights, and a Smart CAN-enabled seven-inch digital LED instrument cluster.
Ayush Lohia, Chief Executive Officer of Youdha, said, "Our ambition is to build ePod into a trusted name across passenger and goods transportation. The positive response to our passenger vehicle gives us a strong foundation to extend the range into cargo. With ePod G, we aim to address the needs of businesses and individual operators involved in last-mile deliveries while continuing to strengthen Youdha’s product portfolio and market presence."
