Yerth Motors Pvt. Ltd., a new mobility company founded by Ashish Singh Joshi and Imran Ismail Mulla, launched on April 8, 2026, in Pune, India, with the opening of an Innovation Centre aimed at developing what the company calls "Hypermobility" platforms for global markets.
The venture is backed by a $2.2bn Indian electronics manufacturing company, providing Yerth Motors with manufacturing scale and a technology foundation. The company says it intends to integrate automotive engineering with consumer electronics to build transportation platforms it describes as seamless, intelligent, and sustainable.
The founders bring complementary expertise to the venture. Their combined experience spans engineering, product development, brand building, and scaling mobility businesses.
Ashish Singh Joshi, Founder, said: "As we launch Yerth Motors, we are building more than a global mobility company—we are shaping a globally relevant brand designed to scale across markets and resonate with the evolving aspirations of a new generation of riders. Hypermobility represents a strategic direction for us—guiding how we build products, engage with customers, and expand into new markets with solutions that are intuitive, connected, and aligned with how people live and move in an increasingly dynamic world."
Imran Ismail Mulla, Founder, said: "We are building Yerth Motors as a global mobility brand, engineered and designed for the world. Our approach brings together deep automotive engineering and next-generation consumer technology to create mobility solutions that are intelligent, adaptive, and seamlessly embedded into everyday life. As we grow, we are committed to establishing a strong global footprint through strategic partnerships, robust ecosystems, and a disciplined approach to innovation with hypermobility—positioning Yerth Motors at the forefront of the next evolution in mobility."
The Pune facility will serve as the company's primary base for research, development, and product innovation as it targets expansion across global markets.
