Yerth Motors Opens Pune Innovation Centre to Build Next-generation Mobility Platforms
The company, backed by a $2.2bn Indian electronics manufacturer, is founded by Ashish Singh Joshi and Imran Ismail Mulla.
Yerth Motors Pvt. Ltd., a new mobility company founded by Ashish Singh Joshi and Imran Ismail Mulla, launched on April 8, 2026, in Pune, India, with the opening of an Innovation Centre aimed at developing what the company calls "Hypermobility" platforms for global markets.
The venture is backed by a $2.2bn Indian electronics manufacturing company, providing Yerth Motors with manufacturing scale and a technology foundation. The company says it intends to integrate automotive engineering with consumer electronics to build transportation platforms it describes as seamless, intelligent, and sustainable.
The founders bring complementary expertise to the venture. Their combined experience spans engineering, product development, brand building, and scaling mobility businesses.

The Pune facility will serve as the company's primary base for research, development, and product innovation as it targets expansion across global markets.
