Yamaha Offers ₹5,000 Discount on R15 Series as Part of 70th Anniversary Celebration
India Yamaha Motor reduces prices across its popular R15 lineup, now starting at ₹1.5 lakh ex-showroom Delhi.
India Yamaha Motor has announced special anniversary pricing for its flagship R15 series, offering savings of ₹5,000 across all variants effective from January 5, 2026. The price reduction is part of Yamaha Motor's 70th anniversary celebrations.
With the new pricing, the entry-level Yamaha R15 S is now available at ₹1,50,700 (ex-showroom, Delhi), making the performance-oriented motorcycle more accessible to buyers. The R15 V4 is priced at ₹1,66,200, while the top-spec R15 M variant costs ₹1,81,100.
The R15 series has been a significant model for Yamaha in India, with over one million units produced domestically since its launch. The motorcycle has played a key role in developing the entry-level performance segment in the country and has found strong acceptance among younger riders.
The current R15 range features a 155cc liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine paired with Yamaha's DiASil cylinder technology and Deltabox frame. Depending on the variant, the motorcycle comes equipped with features including a Traction Control System, Assist and Slipper Clutch, Quick Shifter, Upside-Down Front Forks, and Linked-Type Monocross Suspension.
The anniversary discount represents a strategic move by Yamaha to strengthen its position in India's competitive sport motorcycle segment, where it faces competition from several domestic and international manufacturers.
