Webber Electrocorp has launched Webber Care Point, a service network designed to address after-sales support gaps in India's electric vehicle market. The Gurgaon-based company announced the platform alongside its new WBMS-SWLT battery management system on May 30, 2025.
The service platform uses IoT sensors, artificial intelligence, and digital tools to provide diagnostics, repairs, and remote monitoring for electric vehicles. Users can book services through a mobile application, while manufacturers access customer support tools and battery monitoring through a centralized dashboard.
Webber Care Point operates across multiple EV brands and battery types through certified service hubs with trained technicians. The platform offers predictive diagnostics, real-time health reports, on-demand repairs, and annual maintenance contracts for individual users and fleet operators.
The platform's pilot phase shows operational hubs in Delhi NCR and Pune handling over 300 monthly service requests. Four battery manufacturers have integrated Webber's certified battery management systems, with over 1,000 users testing the mobile application. The service has received a 4.8-star customer rating, and fleet operators report up to 30% reduction in vehicle downtime.
India's electric vehicle market is projected to grow at 49% annually through 2030, with over 3 million EVs expected on roads by 2027. The growth includes two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and passenger cars across urban and rural markets.
Traditional service centers often lack specialized equipment and expertise for electric vehicle maintenance, particularly for battery health assessments and electronic diagnostics. This creates extended downtime for users and operational challenges for fleet operators who depend on vehicle availability.
Webber plans to expand across Delhi NCR, Maharashtra, and pilgrimage routes in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh in its first phase. By early 2026, the company aims to establish over 100 service hubs nationwide through OEM partnerships and white-label integrations. A third phase targets tier-2 and tier-3 cities through franchise operations, with plans to serve over 15,000 customers.
The company also launched the WBMS-SWLT battery management system, supporting 16-cell configurations and 48-60V platforms. The system includes fault detection, thermal alerts, and data logging capabilities, meeting AIS-156 Phase II safety standards for the Indian market.
Webber Electrocorp was founded in 2019 by IIT Kharagpur graduate Manuj Agrawal. The company manufactures battery management systems, motor controllers, and EV chargers from its operational facility in Pune, focusing on reducing India's dependence on imported EV components.
