Volvo Group’s SDLG inaugurates first manufacturing facility in Bengaluru

SDLG, a Member of the Volvo Group which offers sustainable solutions to construction, earthmoving, infrastructure and mining projects, has inaugurated its first manufacturing facility for wheel loaders, in Bengaluru. 

The facility boasts a comprehensive manufacturing setup for five products and can produce 1,000 machines annually per shift. This is a significant milestone for SDLG in its endeavor to increase localised manufacturing capabilities, the press release noted. 

"SDLG Growth Machines have garnered widespread acclaim among customers in quarrying, mining, roads, railway siding, and port segments. Their remarkable adaptability ensures users can derive maximum value across diverse applications," Surat Mehta, Head of SDLG Business in India said. 

SDGL's key priorities include ensuring cost efficiency, expedited delivery, offering tailor-made equipment for the region, and delivering superior customer service and support.
