Volvo EX30 Launched in India at ₹41 Lakh ex-showroom Price

Volvo Car India announced the pricing of its EX30 electric SUV at ₹41 lakh (ex-showroom) on Monday, marking the company's push to expand its electric vehicle portfolio in the Indian market. The Swedish automaker is offering a limited-time pre-reserve price of ₹39.99 lakh for customers booking before October 19, with deliveries scheduled to commence in the first week of November 2025.

The EX30 represents Volvo's third electric vehicle model to be locally assembled at its Hosakote facility in Bengaluru. The launch comes as India's luxury electric vehicle segment experiences growing demand, with premium automakers introducing more accessible electric options to capture market share.

"We are thrilled to introduce the Volvo EX30 to the Indian market at such an exciting price point, with special benefits for those who pre-reserve," said Jyoti Malhotra, Managing Director, Volvo Car India. "We believe this model will play a significant role in making luxury electric vehicles appeal to a new segment of innovators and achievers, those who appreciate power, design and sustainable luxury. With its impressive performance, extended range, sophisticated look, and the convenience of a hassle-free ownership package, the EX30 is set to redefine the EV experience for our discerning customers."

The EX30 Single Motor Extended Range variant features a 272 hp motor producing 343 Nm of torque, powered by a 69 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The vehicle offers a WLTP-certified range of 480 km and accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 5.3 seconds, with a top speed of 180 km/h. The rear-wheel-drive SUV comes with an automatic transmission.

The EX30 achieved a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating and includes Volvo's Safe Space Technology with five cameras, five radars, and 12 ultrasonic sensors. Safety features include intersection auto-brake, door-opening alert, adaptive cruise control, and a 360-degree camera system.

Interior technology centers around a 12.3-inch touchscreen display with Google Built-in services, 5G connectivity, and over-the-air updates. The cabin features a Harman Kardon sound system with 1040W amplifier and nine speakers, along with five ambient lighting themes.

Each EX30 includes a comprehensive ownership package covering three years of warranty, service package, and roadside assistance, plus an eight-year battery warranty and five years of digital services subscription. The vehicle comes standard with an 11 kW wall box charger and digital key functionality through NFC technology.

The EX30 will be available in five color options through Volvo's 25-dealership network across major Indian cities. The model has received international recognition, winning the Red Dot Award for Product Design and World Urban Car of the Year 2024.

Volvo Cars established its Indian operations in 2007 and currently operates through dealerships in 25 cities including Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, and Kolkata.
