VoltUp, a Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) startup, has announced its collaboration with Revamp Moto to deploy 40,000 electric two-wheelers over the next two years. To support this initiative, VoltUp will invest over ₹750 crores in developing infrastructure and expanding its network to improve last-mile mobility solutions.

This partnership aims to address challenges faced by delivery executives and gig workers, such as high operating costs and maintenance associated with fuel-powered vehicles. VoltUp’s MaaS platform allows users to adopt electric two-wheelers through a pay-as-you-go model, significantly reducing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) by up to 76%.

The electric two-wheelers provided by Revamp Moto will integrate with VoltUp’s battery-swapping infrastructure, offering 24/7 access to efficient battery swaps. Features such as real-time vehicle tracking, range estimation, and a swap station locator, accessible through the VoltUp app, ensure operational efficiency for users. VoltUp's proprietary technology and data analytics, combined with Revamp’s vehicle design, aim to enhance safety, reliability, and user satisfaction for gig workers.

These vehicles are designed to meet the needs of gig workers and micro-entrepreneurs, with a focus on innovative features, durability, and user-friendly ergonomics. Leveraging VoltUp's IoT-enabled fleet management and AI-driven network intelligence, the partnership seeks to optimise supply-demand dynamics, making electric mobility more accessible and efficient.

Siddharth Kabra, Founder & CEO of VoltUp, commented, "Our collaboration with Revamp Moto represents a significant step in improving Mobility as a Service (MaaS) in India. With the last-mile gig workforce expected to grow by more than 20% in the coming years, our MaaS solutions are designed to meet the specific needs of delivery agents, gig workers, and small business owners. By integrating advanced battery-swapping infrastructure with reliable vehicles, we aim to offer cost-efficient and uninterrupted operations, ultimately contributing to a scalable and sustainable electric two-wheeler ecosystem."

Pritesh Mahajan, Co-founder of Revamp Moto, said, "At Revamp Moto, our goal is to empower society by providing sustainable and adaptive mobility solutions. Through this partnership with VoltUp, we plan to deploy 40,000 electric two-wheelers across India over the next three years. By combining our durable, innovative vehicles with VoltUp’s advanced battery-swapping infrastructure, we aim to create a reliable and efficient mobility ecosystem that benefits gig workers by improving their income, comfort, and convenience while contributing to the transition toward clean energy solutions."
