Volkswagen expands presence in Chhattisgarh with two new touchpoints
Both facilities will offer door-to-door service through Volkswagen assistance across the region with support from the Volkswagen touchpoint located in Raipur.
Volkswagen Passenger Cars India has bolstered its network in Chhattisgarh with the opening of two new touchpoints in Bhilai and Bilaspur. This strategic move is in line with the brand's commitment to strengthening its presence and improving accessibility for its lineup, which includes the GNCAP 5-Star rated Taigun and Virtus, along with the Tiguan, particularly in Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets.
The addition of these new touchpoints brings Volkswagen's network in the region to three sales and two service touchpoints. As a global player in mobility solutions, this network expansion aims to increase the reach of Volkswagen's Safe, Fun-to-Drive, and German-engineered vehicles for customers in Chhattisgarh. The newly inaugurated dealerships have assembled a dedicated team of 21 sales and service professionals committed to delivering exceptional ownership experiences for customers, the company shared.
This move aligns with Volkswagen's strategy to make its vehicles more accessible to a wider audience, particularly in emerging markets. By reinforcing its presence in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, Volkswagen aims to cater to the evolving needs and preferences of customers in these regions, offering them a taste of German engineering excellence and safety standards.
Ashish Gupta, Brand Director of Volkswagen Passenger Cars India, commented on the introduction of these new touchpoints, stating, "Customer preferences across Central India are evolving, with an increased focus on safety, robust designs, and premium mobility solutions. The touchpoints in Bilaspur and Bhilai will showcase the 5-star GNCAP-rated Volkswagen Virtus and Taigun and its flagship Volkswagen Tiguan. The Bilaspur facility also boasts of five service bays that will cater to the service maintenance requirements of our customers. Notably, both facilities in Bilaspur and Bhilai offer door-to-door service through Volkswagen assistance across the region with support from the Volkswagen touchpoint located in Raipur.
