Vitor Silva appointed president of Michelin's Africa, India, and Middle East region
Vitor Silva, with over 28 years of experience at Michelin, will lead the company's growth and innovation efforts in the Africa, India, and Middle East region, driving sustainable mobility and enhanced customer experiences.
Michelin has announced the appointment of Vitor Silva as the President of the Africa, India, and Middle East (AIM) region. Silva will be based in Pune, India.
With over 28 years of experience at Michelin, Silva has held leadership roles in sales, marketing, and other commercial functions across North America, Europe, and Asia. Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Euromaster, a subsidiary of Michelin and a service provider for car, van, and truck fleets operating in more than 2,500 centers across 18 countries. Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions in various areas within Michelin, including two-wheeler, truck, retread, and distribution.
In his new role, Silva will focus on driving Michelin's growth in the AIM region, improving customer experiences, and promoting innovation aligned with the company's vision for sustainable mobility.
Silva is a motorcycle enthusiast and resides with his wife and daughter.
