Vida sets up 300 chargers across Delhi, Bengaluru & Jaipur

Hero MotoCorp-backed Vida today confirmed setting up 300 chargers across 50 locations in Delhi, Bengaluru and Jaipur, with each charging station to specifically have DC and AC charging sockets.

The company management has said that the 300 charger feat is in line with VIDA's approach of building a “Worry Free EV Ecosystem”. VIDA has set up Experience Centers in Bengaluru and Jaipur, and pop-up stores in Delhi-NCR, where customers can test-ride the Vida V1.

Some of the services offered by VIDA offers include Green EMI offering low-cost EMI options and a Buy-Back scheme that guaranteed a buyback of 70% of purchase value between the 16th to 18th months of vehicle ownership.

Hero MotoCorp's Vida's amplification of its charging network is a leg up to India's largest two-wheeler maker looking to ramp up its operations in other cities.

During a recent analyst call, Hero MotoCorp Head - Emerging Mobility Business Unit (EMBU)- Swadesh Srivastava said "We are really ready to expand our operations and deepen our presence into multiple cities by end of FY24."
